kinderzimmer Godalming boasts tall ceilings and light-flooded spaces, with large symmetrical rooms that create a warm and welcoming environment. With a capacity of 144 children across all age groups, the nursery is bespoke in design.
Our dining room offers the perfect space for baking, experimenting with food and engaging in messy play, while our large garden and woodland area encourages children to learn about the natural world.

Is there a drop-off zone?
Yes, we have ample parking available for drop-off and pick-up times.
Is there an outdoor play garden?
Yes, the children at kinderzimmer Godalming will benefit from an enhanced outdoor curriculum. The nursery is set over an acre of natural woodland, and also features a lake!
Do you have a buggy store?
Yes, there will be a secure buggy store available.
What’s your registration process?
To begin registrations, you must have completed an enquiry form, which can be found here. We will then be in touch with you via a follow up email to book an introductory call (if you wish) or you can reply to our email to request a registration form. It is currently free to join our waiting list until the end of June. We are not yet offering place offers, this usually begins around a month before our official opening date to ensure we have staff ready to meet ratios.
At the point of offering spaces, if we’re unable to find a place that matches your preferences, your child will remain on our waiting list until a suitable place becomes available, or if you request them to be removed. Offers are typically offered 3 months in advance of your preferred start date. This will vary depending on availability. Upon receiving our place offer, we ask you accept the place within 48 hours and make the payment of a refundable £400 deposit. This deposit will then be deducted from your first full invoice with us at kinderzimmer.
Will you be accepting Government funded hours?
Yes, children at kinderzimmer are able to benefit from Government funding schemes. If you qualify for funding, your child can become eligible for age-specific funding the term after the relevant birthday. For children aged between 9 months – 3 years, updated funding codes must be provided by the parents or legal guardians.
When will tours begin?
Tours usually begin a week before our official opening date and are prioritised for those looking for start dates within our first month of opening. After the nursery is officially open, tours will continue throughout usual nursery opening hours.
When tours are launched, we will be in touch with everyone who has enquired via email to let them know.
What are the ratios of educators to children?
For Babies (3 months – 2 years) its 1 : 3
For Toddlers (2 years – 3 years) its 1 : 5
For Preschool (3 years – 5 years) its 1 : 8
There is also a minimum of two educators in the room, regardless of the number of children.
